মন্দা
ধীর বা ঋণাত্বক অর্থনৈতিক প্রবৃদ্ধি কাল, সাধারণত এর সঙ্গে উঁচু মাত্রার বেকারত্ব বিদ্যমান থাকে। অর্থনীতিবিদগণ মন্দা্র আরো দু'টি সঙ্গা দিয়েছেন। এর প্রথমটি প্রমাণ করা কঠিন, এটি হল এই যে যখন অর্থনীতিতে দীর্ঘমেয়াদি স্বাভাবিক গতির চেয়ে ধীর গতির প্রবৃদ্ধি বিদ্যমান থাকে এবং সামর্থ অব্যবহৃত থাকে। দ্বিতীয়টি হল পর পর দু'টি ত্রয়মাসিক মেয়াদে জিডিপি (মোট অভ্যান্তরীণ আয়)-এর পতন।
