akademikong sining

Ang sining ginawa ayon sa mga aral ng isang akademya ng sining. Sa ikalabinsiyam na siglo ang sining academya ng Europa ay naging lubhang konserbatibo, resisting ang pagbabago at pagbabago. Sila ay dumating na laban sa ang avant-garde at sa modernong sining sa pangkalahatan. Ang term akademiko ay kaya naging kahulugan ng mga konserbatibo mga anyo ng sining na huwag pansinin ang mga makabagong-likha ng pagkamakabago.
