Literalmente, una persona es una máscara. En literatura, una persona es un narrador creado por un escritor para contar un historia o para hablar en un poema. Una persona no es un personaje en un historia o narración, tampoco refleja necesariamente la voz personal del autor. Una persona es un ente separado, creado por el eutor y distinto de él, a través del cual él o ella habla. Véase también narrador.
