Corregir un un hecho incorrecto u ofensa, sobre todo por el pecado, que es una ofensa contra Dios. Por su muerte en la cruz, el Hijo de Dios dio su vida por amor al Padre para corregir nuestra desobediencia pecaminosa (614). Estamos obligados a corregir los pecados personales contra la justicia y la verdad, ya sea mediante la restitución de bienes robados o corregir el daño hecho al buen nombre del prójimo. (2412, 2487).
